Jessa Morissey

If there is one thing in my life that I am absolutely certain of, it is that I always have and always will be an artist. When you wake up every morning with a massive desire to create things, I guess that is when you know..

 

I am a graduate of Eastern Washinton University, and received a BAE in Secondary Visual Arts Education. I want to use my degree to give young people the opportunity to learn about, explore and find joy in the arts as much as I have in my life so far. 

 

My portfolio of artwork is not limited to a single medium or discipline. I cannot label myself as simply a "painter" or "print-maker," I use the word "artist" to describe myself because I cannot predetermine the art that I make or the materials that I will use to make it. The art develops and manifests itself during my creative process, I get to experience the joy of exploring an idea from beginning stages through to completion.
